Melco Inc. owner and President Christopher A. (Kit) Molden, is pleased to announce the formation of a Contract Construction Division for residential and light commercial clients. Melco, Inc. develops, builds, and manages multi-family and commercial properties in Winchester. The company also has extensive experience in single family construction..

The Mission of the Division is to assist the Client in all aspects of the building process from concept to reality. Drawing on deep design and construction knowledge, along with years of experience, the Company is positioned to offer and coordinate a comprehensive range of Client Services, including preliminary site analysis, project programming, concept design, plan preparation/selection, permitting, interior design, lighting design, kitchen/bathroom design, and turnkey construction.

The division will be headed by Project Manager, Susan Combs. A graduate of Virginia Tech (Bachelor of Science, Interior Design, 1979), Ms. Combs is an ASID Associate and has 30 years experience in interior design, including residential and commercial construction. Company Principal, Christopher A. (Kit) Molden, also a graduate of Virginia Tech (Bachelor of Architecture, 1976), will directly oversee all activities. David Webster will provide Field Supervision. Mr. Webster has over 35 years experience in residential and commercial construction.

The Company has familiarity and access to the area’s top design consultants, sub-contractors, and vendors. From a simple small home addition or renovation to light commercial buildings, tenant build-outs or more complex upscale residences, the Company offers the specialty knowledge to make a Clients’s vision a well conceived, designed and built reality.
